I’m learning Java for personal purposes, partially because I want some concrete results that would come from being better able to develop a program for my own use, and partially because I need to stimulate myself with a learning activity that is not directly applicable to my work/career/whatever.
I’ve been struggling - no, slaving - over a problem for the past couple days. I was getting nowhere. In fact, I felt like anything I figured out was actually pushing me back further, because I was learning how little I understood how to solve the problem.
