Good Evening, Mr. FinePix.
The F20 is making a comeback. It’s been charging for about 9 months, since about a week after I bought it. I think it’s charged now.
I started posting pictures on blipfoto (note the sidebar photoblog). I’ve also set up the local gallery. Now I just need to take more pictures.
Cameraing has always been fun and interesting and whatever - partially from an artistic/creative standpoint, and partially from just having the pictures to remember my life. I got initially dejected in 2005 or so when I accidentally deleted my entire digital picture collection (along with katie’s.) A few thousand pictures over a year or two. Then further dejected in 2007 when I lost my camera on the first event that I pulled it out again.
More recently, I’ve been convinced to get a Fuji F20 (it turned out to be GREAT, btw, for a cheap point and shoot). I don’t have any interest in getting a a huge SLR right now - not going to carry it around with me so it’s just going to get dusty. (not to mention that I lack the foresight to take interesting pictures and the skill to pull it off.)
As with all things: we’ll see.
